Our History

Family Owned and Operated

In 1992, Jannette King (also known as Nanny) opened her first Auntie Anne's store.

The business soon became a family affair. The current leadership team grew up learning how to make pretzels and run the business. Their passion for excellence comes from a deep-rooted connection to the family business.

Giving Back

For us, it’s always been people over profits.

Alex's Lemonade Stand

Auntie Anne's and Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) have a heartwarming history of collaboration rooted in philanthropy and compassion. Auntie Anne's has been a dedicated supporter of ALSF since 2011, raising funds and awareness for childhood cancer research through various initiatives, including the sale of paper lemons in their stores. This partnership reflects Auntie Anne's commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families in need, aligning with ALSF's mission to find cures and improve the lives of those affected by childhood cancer.
